Understory is an innovative new protein brand from Aker BioMarine. The brand is a result of the belief that krill as an ancient natural resource is a nutritional opportunity to improve life on our planet.

We created a brand strategy and visual identity to position Understory as pioneers in the future of nutrition. We focused on creating a brand narrative centered on the incredible nutritional possibilities found in one of nature's smallest resources.

Our hand-painted watercolors translated these natural resources, creating an artistic and human rendering that sets Understory apart in its category.
